About Reflections Imaging
Hello. I’m Gary Haynes. I’ve been a photographer for more than 40 years. I started out like a lot of my friends and colleagues, taking pictures starting in my teens. At that time it was Kodak Tri-X and an Argus C-3 camera. State of the art at the time when you are on a budget.
I continued to shoot through high school and learned to do weddings as I entered my college years.
During the last 10 years or so my wife and I have owned several photo labs and a framing shop. Though I didn’t do much shooting for myself during this time I did do some magazine covers and commercial work.
Now times have changed. Digital has revolutionized and revolutionized the photography market. For the past several years I have shot with Canon equipment, primarily the 21mp Canon 1D MkIII and recently switched to Hasselblad digital equipment with even more mega-pixels.
The images that have been created are printed using Epson K3 Ultrachrome Archival inks on Hanhnemüle Monet canvas, one of the finest gicleé canvases in the world. They are then protected with Premier Arts Eco Print Shield and hand stretched onto fine art gallery stretcher frames. This combination of materials is rated at more than 100+ years in archival terms.
